Last night was one of those nights that reminded me that life is full of challenges
There are incidents in my life that I wish didn’t happen,
but I can’t change time and undo the wrong paths we’ve taken;
Sometimes there seems to be crosses that I have to bear.
At times I question, why us, why them, why me?
Can I blame all that to a greedy lawyer that took hundreds of thousands of dollars, or can the blame be on us for trusting those who gave us false hopes?
Back then, we weren’t google-ing for information that would have prevented such tragedy in our lives.
Life is unfair sometimes… or is it – life is what we made it to be.
I'm definitely stressed out when I woke up because I ate 3 cupcakes, half of the blueberry pound cake, portabella and goat cheese panini and banana bread
(compliments of my daughter's bf's bakery).
I lost my zen last night that prompted my 8yo to ask questions he wouldn't understand the answers for.
When he was asked, "What are you waiting for?"
He answered slowly inunciating every word, "I am waiting for nothing"
And in his 8yo wisdom, he suggested, "Mom, you should write to the Governor.
I can't let my family in the Philippines wait for nothing, so maybe I should do just that.
I don’t know if I can handle such responsibility and last night’s overseas phone call is a reminder of such a hefty task.
Please do pray that my family and I continue to have the faith and strength to get through these challenges.
When I opened my email Monday morning, I was pleased and surprised by 2 thoughtful bloggers who were sweet enough to share their awards with me.
1) Dee of “A Mom’s Journey”, thank you for the Lovely Blog Award;

EVERYTHING is in DIVINE ORDER!
I always repeat myself many times until feeling it...
"Divine Order... Everything is Perfect"
This was with me the day my brother died, the day we almost lost our house down hill with the heavy rains, the day I had to leave my son in PR for 4 months, the year my husband had no job, the year we lived by $1,500/mo (with two houses to pay, cc debt, and normal house spending), the day of my PhD Qualifier exam, the day my son had a surgery, the day I started my PhD, the day we sold everything to come here... and you know which other day.... the day my son was born, they day I got married, the day I said yes to my husband, the day I got my dream job, the day I finished all my course work with excellent grades, the day we bought our first house, the day my son went to school for the first time, the day he learned to walk, the day my husband got his dream job, the day he got accepted in grad school and me too, the day my family stepped in to help financially without us even asking and them demanding to pay back... You know which day? EVERYDAY I repeat to myself there is something much higher than us that has everything in order and we need to trust it and open our eyes to see it show us the way to go. Those ways sometimes might be difficult to cross, but we can cross them with the DIVINE ORDER by our hands. Like when you learned to walk by your parents hand and YOU TRUSTED THEM!
"Divine Order... Everything is Perfect"
Thanks for the awards! :) HUGS!
Thanks for your encouragement, Jenjen, and I'll be thinking of you!ReplyDelete
