Living in a suburban town – life can be hectic.

Morning rush,
After school chaos,
Competitive living,
Modern gadgets consume one’s “down” time.

Financial system to be recovered,
Credit markets not working,
Housing markets in crisis,
Foundations for recovery – hopefully is on its way!

Teenage angst,
College stress,
Hormonal changes,
Emotional downturn – occasionally tickles one’s mood.

Snow covered-mountains,
Blue skies,
Quaint setting,
Picturesque landscape – temporarily pause all the conundrums of life.

One does not have to travel seven hours to remind oneself the beauty of life.
Go out for a walk, “power-down”, get “unplugged”,
Read a book, sing, paint, and dance, jump up and down,
Simple things that remind us the beauty of living.

So take a little break, bundle-up and go to the park,
Walk your child to school, listen to his sweet voice,
Open your ears to the birds singing,
the rustling of the leaves and the whooshing of the wind.

“ We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.” – Kahlil Gibran .
